Where do the medications come from? How do I know they're safe?
Our medications are supplied from a drug wholesaler in Louisiana. Every drug we buy is approved by the FDA. Our medications are supplied from the same manufacturers as every national chain.
Are generics the same as the name-brand medications I am prescribed?
In order to be legally sold as a generic drug, it must be rated by the FDA as equivalent to the brand name.
How can you get them at such low prices?
Our pricing strategy is a totally different concept for drug pricing. Our prices are determined from the true cost of the medication. Most of our competitors base their prices off the average wholesale price, or as a discount off of the cost of the brand name.
How can you by-pass the insurance companies?
If a customer has insurance, it is his or her choice to use it. Our prices are so great that customers often find more savings by paying out of pocket than they would using insurance and co-pays.
Will I automatically get my next refill? Or do I need to request it?
It is the customer’s choice. We can set up medications to automatically refill, or the customer can submit a request to fill it.
Is my information safe to submit online?
Yes – your privacy and security are paramount to us! Our site and all forms are protected with SSL certificate and we follow the HIPAA Privacy Rule to ensure that all of the information you provide us is encrypted, safely transmitted, and never stored.
What if I have a question about my medication, dosage, or frequency? Can I talk to a pharmacist?
Our pharmacists are available Mon-Fri from 8:30am-6:00pm and Sat 8:30am-1:00pm. A pharmacist can be reached via phone at 1-866-270-3573 or by email at mensmedsnow@johnsalbany.com.
How soon after I submit my prescription can I expect to receive my medication?
Once your prescription is received from your doctor or pharmacy, your prescription will typically arrive by mail within 2 business days.
What happens after I submit a prescription request?
Once you submit a request, our staff will contact your doctor or pharmacy. Once we have confirmed the prescription, our staff will fill your prescription. Next, we will contact you for payment information, and then mail your prescription via USPS.
When and how do I pay for my prescription?
We will contact you once we have confirmed your prescription with your doctor and/or pharmacy if you are transferring a prescription. Payment can be made over the phone with a credit card.

Can I use any Pharmacy when I use the Medici App or Mensmedsnow site?
Yes, but the pricing may increase at other pharmacies and at John’s Pharmacy we ship your medication directly to your door for free. We also offer counseling for free to our customers.
Who will I speak with on the Medici App?
By typing in code P20PMOYLNQ you will be connected to a Licensed Physician. When you message or talk with a physician on the Medici platform you can see their resume, medical license, and credentials anytime you want.
Do I need a prescription to use the Medici App?
No, the physician you consult with on the Medici App will write a prescription if they deem it safe and appropriate after your online visit.
Is my information safe?
We take your privacy and the security of your information very seriously. We’ve designed Medici and MensMedsNow to comply with all relevant privacy laws and have implemented strict security protocols to protect your information.
How much is a Consult?
The consult is $42 but you will receive your first fill for free (up to $50)
Do I need to be home to sign for my medication?
No, we will call you to let you know we have your prescription and let you know when you should be receiving it. We do not require signature upon receipt for convenience of our customers.
When will I receive my order?
If we receive your script prior to 2pm it will usually ship out the same day and you will receive within 1-2 days. If received after 2pm it will ship out the next day so the longest it should take 2-3 days to receive it.
